Try your hand at candle making.

We offer a variety of candle making experiences in "Kirsten's Candle Kitchen".

Small groups of 4 participants (Group Booking option now available max 6 pax).

Approx. 1.5hrs of making candles of your choice.

Call Kirsten to discuss your hands-on experience or book online - must be booked at least 2 days in advance.

Children must be accompanied by an adult participant.

Closed Mondays & Tuesdays.

Candle Making Experience Options

Please note that the Candle Making Experience is not a lesson/class but just a hands on guided experience.

PLEASE NOTE : ONLY ONE TYPE OF WAX CAN BE USED PER DAY, EXPERIENCES CANNOT BE MIXED

(IT'S PARAFFIN, SOY OR BEESWAX).

Coloured Pillar Candles - Paraffin Wax

All Inclusive Cost: $130 per person (3 candles each to take home).

This experience needs a minimum of 2 participates and a maximum of 4 to run.

Each participant will put together 3 different scented pillar candles each using a variety of moulds and colours.

Duration: Takes approx. 1.5hrs. Can take longer so suggest giving yourself 2hrs before any further commitments.

NOTE: The candles will need time to set overnight and be finished the next morning that I am open, so you would need to come back to the shop to collect them on the following/agreed day from about lunchtime

Soy Wax Container Candles

All Inclusive Cost: $120per person (approx. 4-5 container candles each to take home).

This experience needs a minimum of 2 participates and a maximum of 4 to run.

Each participant gets approx. 1lt of wax, plus blend your own scent using a selection of my essential oils and fragrance oils. Then pour into different tins and glass jars.

Duration: Takes between 1 & 1.5hrs.

GROUP BOOKING - 6 Particiapants only - Soy Wax Container Candles

All Inclusive Cost: $390 per session (5-6 participants only).

Each participant get to make 3 container candles.

They gets approx. 500ml of wax and their choice of scent from my selection of my essential oils and fragrance oils. Then pour into different tins and glass jars.

Duration: Takes between 45mins - 1 hour.

NOTE: The soy candles will need time to set and get labelled the next morning that I am open, so you would need to come back to the shop to collect them on the following/agreed day from about lunchtime.

Bees Wax Candles

All Inclusive Cost: $125 per person (2-6 participants).

Each participant get to make tealights, hand dipped tiny tapers, a pillar and novelty candle.

Candles can be taken away with you at the end of the session.

Duration: Takes approx 1.5hrs.

Suggestion: you bring an esky bag to pop them in as they will on just be set.

Other conditions to ensure your safety when dealing with hot wax, aprons are supplied but in case of spillages:

1. Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol/drugs,

2. Long hair must be tied back,

3. Closed in shoes to be worn,

and finally, I suggest that old clothes be worn.
